Social Media has the power to connect you with targeted audiences. Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and others can help keep your audience informed with up-to-the-minute details about your participation at Smart Manufacturing Experience.

WHAT SOCIAL MEDIA SITES SHOULD I USE?

Twitter – Post updates about your company, new products, special offers and more. Tag or retweet from @SmartMfgExp
Facebook – Announce your plans to exhibit at Smart Manufacturing Experience. Engage with attendees before and after the event.
YouTube – Use video to connect with your customers.

WHAT SHOULD I POST TO SOCIAL MEDIA SITES?

Below are several examples of what you can post to social media to promote your booth, new products, features, and more! Copy and paste the below posts to your social media account – be sure to replace what’s in parenthesis with your booth # or company name.

Twitter
Example 1:
We’ll be at @SmartMfgExp in #Chicago September 14-16. Be sure to stop by booth (insert your booth #) to see our products in action! #Smart2020 (Add your custom landing page link here)

Example 2:
Here’s a free registration link for @SmartMfgExp! Register now with our special link and stop by booth (your booth #) to see us! (Add your custom landing page link here)

Facebook
We’re excited to be a part of [TAG: @SmartManufacturingExperience] this year and we would love to see you there. Register at the link below for a free pass, using our special code. Don’t forget to plan to visit our booth (insert your booth number) while you’re at the show! We will have special products, new innovative ideas, and solutions you need. We’ll be at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL September 14-16! See you there. (Add your custom landing page link here)

YouTube
Shoot a short video of the new products you’ll be featuring at Smart Manufacturing Experience and post it. Be sure to include your booth number, name, and a brief description of the product in the description section. Then post the video link to Facebook and Twitter and be sure to tag our pages so you are seen by attendees.

SOCIAL MEDIA ADVERTISING

Social media advertising is a great way for you to reach your audience. It’s incredibly cost-effective and can work with any budget. You’ll want to make sure you’re targeting the correct audience for your company.

Twitter:
Use an image that includes the Smart Manufacturing Experience logo and your company logo, or you can use a product photo.

Copy example: Join us at @SmartMfgExp this year! We’ll be in booth # ___.

For this ad, you’d want to target specific job titles, companies, or locations. And be sure to link back to your personalized Smart Manufacturing Experience landing page!

Facebook:
Use an image that includes the Smart Manufacturing Experience logo and your company logo, or you can use a product photo. Make sure the photo to copy ratio is no more than 20%, or Facebook will not approve your ad. You may also choose to do a carousel ad, in which you can feature multiple photos with multiple descriptions. Keep it short and simple!

For this ad, you’d want to target specific job titles, companies, or locations. And be sure to link back to your personalized Smart Manufacturing Experience landing page!
