Amatrol, Texas A&M University, and three major Texas community colleges have partnered with CESMII, the Smart Manufacturing Institute, to develop and pilot a workforce development model for communities to quickly scale their capacity to meet local industry’s need for workers with smart manufacturing skills. The model establishes a regional network of partners and makes innovative use of Virtual Reality-Digital Twin Software, Smart Factory Automation with IIoT technology, and online certification courses to achieve SACA Industry 4.0 credentials.
