Come hear how the The MEP Advanced Tech Team can help you overcome a wide range of technical issues. David McFeeters-Krone is a regional principal of this nationwide program funded by NIST MEP designed to help small manufacturers solve technical challenges through partnering. Generally speaking, they work best when a company is doing something new or is having trouble doing something old. This could include enhancing an old part (faster, smaller, stronger, bouncier, etc) or a completely new product. The team is a set of high-energy, fearlessly-inquisitive, fast-moving team players. They bring in non-traditional (Federal labs, Manufacturing USA, University) resources to help resolve issues with a multidisciplinary approach. This free service is offered through the Manufacturing Extension Partnerships and has already helped nearly 100 companies with projects ranging from sensors, material identification, manufacturing capability sourcing, and 3D printing.
