Bill Bigot

William E. Bigot is the senior vice president of sales and marketing at Ascent Aerospace and is based in Macomb, Michigan. His responsibilities include sales management and oversight of the business development as well as all marketing activities. Most recently he held the vice president of business development position for JR Automation from January 2019. Prior to that position, he was the vice president with AIT/Nova-Tech Engineering LP in Plano, Texas, USA. Before joining AIT/Nova-Tech Engineering LP in December 2014, Mr. Bigot was vice president of sales, marketing and business development for PaR Systems in Shoreview, Minnesota, USA. He joined PaR Systems in August 2009. Prior to PaR Systems, Bill spent 24 years in technical and managerial positions with MTS Systems Corporation in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. At MTS Systems he helped lead the company to become a worldwide leader in the integration of physical and virtual simulation product development in aerospace and automotive markets. His technical and managerial positions are focused in aerospace, automotive and geo-civil engineering groups. He has been instrumental in the development of capabilities and methods integrating physical testing with virtual simulation and the establishment of the SmartSimTM Community. Bill holds degrees in mathematics and computer science from the University of Minnesota as well as an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
