Debasish Mishra

Debasish Mishra is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Connecticut, working towards the development of intelligent techniques for tool condition monitoring. He holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, and master's and doctorate degrees in Manufacturing Engineering. In his doctoral research, he developed an Industry 4.0-model for real-time monitoring and control of the friction stir welding process. He is the author of a textbook, "Digital Twin - Fundamental Concepts to Applications in Advanced Manufacturing", published in Springer. He has also published a few international journal articles and book chapters. He has filed 4 patents in Industry 4.0 applications in manufacturing.
