Where will the event be held?
This is an online event. You do not have to travel to any specific location. You can participate anywhere that you have Internet access. The event is accessible from desktop, mobile and tablet devices.
Do I need to download or install any information to be able to attend this event?
No, you do not need to download or install any software to participate. You only need to have access to the internet.
What browser should I use for this event and what is the best device?
Please use Google Chrome as your browser to get all the event has to offer and for the best experience enjoy the event on a desktop computer or laptop.
For a best experience, users are recommended to attend The Best of SMX on a Chrome browser.
Do I need to register to attend The Best of SMX? Is there a fee to attend?
Yes, you will need to register to participate in the event. Once you have registered, you can simply login to enter the virtual event. Attendee registration is complimentary.
How do I login to The Best of SMX?
Your login details will be emailed to you ahead of the event. You can use these details to access the online event. Enter the event and login with your email at virtual.smxevent.com.
How can I access technical support during the event?
If you encounter technical issues during the event, please click ‘chat’ and select ‘Technical Support’ to receive assistance. You can also enter the Help Desk from the Lobby to locate key event information.
What can I click on inside an exhibitors booth?
Every panel in the exhibitor booths is clickable and will link to videos and other key information. There is a navigation below for chat features, videos and more as well as a list of documents each exhibitor has provided that you can download into your swag bag and take with you when you leave the event. Note: at the top of all windows is the main navigation to The Best of SMX event so you will never be lost inside the rooms.
If you are having issues with video chat, be sure to disable any pop-up blockers in your browser. This will allow you to give access to your camera and microphone
The timings of the live sessions are not convenient for me. Can I still participate in the event?
Following the live event on October 29, the event presentations will remain open 24/7 for 90 days. Therefore, you can view sessions whenever it’s convenient for you during this period of time.
Will I be able to take away any documents or files from the event?
Yes. Like any physical event, we will have a Swag Bag for you! You can add all the documents available to your Swag Bag in your account and then email them to yourself or share items with colleagues and friends by simply entering their email. Additionally, after the event, you can go to the “Video Vault” section in the menu and add any videos or sessions to your Swag Bag as well.
Can I invite my colleagues and friends to attend the event?
Absolutely. We are counting on you to invite others! Help us spread the word. You can simply share the link to our website, and they can register at their convenience.
Can I chat with the Sponsors and Speakers?
Yes, you can start a chat with the sponsors by visiting their both and clicking “Chat” and you
can also chat with the speakers in the Networking Lounge after their presentation is over. All conversations you participate in will be available to access in your ‘Direct Messages’ in ‘Chat’ during the event.
What is the Leaderboard?
