The ARM Institute, in partnership with the Block Center for Technology and Society at Carnegie Mellon University, recently completed a 10-year outlook on the future of manufacturing work. This study was born out of a need to understand manufacturing workforce trends caused by disruptive technologies such as robotics, automation, and artificial intelligence to prepare the manufacturing workforce for the future nature of work. The study leverages leverage existing research and the expertise of the ARM Institute and Block Center teams and of organizations—education providers, manufacturers, robotics companies, and unions— to gain insight on workforce issues and programs that are helping prepare workers for the next ten years of manufacturing. Attend this session to learn about the study highlights, ask questions, and receive a free copy of the study.
