Sherri McCleary

Sherri McCleary is Executive Director of Penn State's Digital Foundry at New Kensington, focused on smart manufacturing education, workforce development, and technology demonstration. She brings 30+ years of industry experience in roles including Director of Additive Manufacturing for Kennametal; Director, Research & Development for Arconic, Vice President,Technologies & Operations for Alcoa Defense Inc., and technology leader in material and manufacturing development and deployment across major markets. Sherri’s accomplishments are recognized through patents, publications, corporate awards, and R&D Magazine Top 100 Award. She holds a BS/Chemistry from Gannon University, MS/Chemical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University, and certifications in Intellectual Property Law.
