Joe Barr is the Plant Manager of Mursix Corporation. Barr started his manufacturing career over 30 years ago as an Engineering Coop Student at Borg Warner Automotive and has held various positions in leadership, operations, engineering and business development at General Motors, Metaldyne, and Magna. Barr graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology and later earned his MBA from Western Governors University. In addition to raising four boys in the community and coaching countless sports teams, Joe serves on the Delaware Advancement Board as the Treasurer, is a past member of the Downtown Development Board, Advisory Board for the MACC (Muncie Area Career Center), as well as the Ivy Tech Advisory Boards for the Business and Technical Departments.
