Augmented reality technology is more than a toy. Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies are ready for field application and allow manufacturers to bring technical experts to a problem instantly, avoiding travel costs and delays, and increasing field support and customer service levels. In this workshop, you’ll get hands-on experience with AR technology to provide remote technical assistance. This technology allows for cost reduction while improving the speed at which we can support our global manufacturing sites with the right technical expertise. Attendees will be able to experience firsthand how using AR/VR on their shop floor will enhance their current processes with a live demonstration of the technology to a remote Cummins site inside their manufacturing network to see the remote service technician’s POV.
